My four year old received this violin for Christmas. She loves musical instruments and this one was a big hit. The only problem was that the music plays loudly and that was unnerving for her. There is no volume. We had to take the batteries out so that she could pretend to the play the violin without any sound. She actually liked the toy better that way.

Christmas morning, my 2.5 year old son pulled the violin out the box and instantly loved it. My son is a huge music fan and now I get to be in his band every few days or so. The product seems to be really durable. We purchased a guitar and the strings broke within the first two days. So knock on wood, the violin should last a few months. Yay!!

I GOT THIS FOR MY 3 YEAR OLD FOR CHRISTMAS. MY SON LOVES IT. WHILE MY 5 YEAR PRACTICES HER REAL ONE HER PLAYS HIS. THEN WHEN MY 5 YEAR OLD TAKES A BREAK THE TWO FIGHT OVER IT CAUSE SHE LOVES HOW IT PLAYS HER FAVORITE SONGS. I RECOMMEND THIS TO ANY MUSIC LOVER WHO WANTS THEIR CHILDREN TO LOVE MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS.
